A. The Armor of God 1

1. (Eph. 6:10-18) Paul wrote Ephesians from prison in Rome perhaps chained to a roman soldier – the whole armor of God

a. (v10) being strong, not in our own strength or might but His is knowing who we are in Christ and taking our rightful authority over the devil.

b.(v11) put on God’s whole armor.

~(Isa. 59:16-17) Jesus’ armor

~(Rom. 13:12-14) putting on Christ

~Stand (4x)

c.(v12) we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood

~4 categories of demons.

~(Dan. 10:12-14) fight is spiritual

~(Eph. 1:21-22 AMP) God’s power in us

~(Col. 2:14-15 AMP) God disarmed principalities and powers at the cross.

d.(v13) 2nd time take the whole armor

2. (v14a) loins girt about with truth – Belt of Truth

a. Truth is the absolute standard by which all reality is measured. Truth is reality in its original form. Truth is God’s view on any subject. Truth is greater than FACT. Satan’s kingdom is rooted in lies and God’s greatest weapon is truth.
