I. How to Receive Your Healing
A. Spirit, Soul and Body
1. One of the greatest mistakes we make as born-again believers in receiving from God is trying to get God to give us something He’s already given us in our spirit.
2. (1 Thess. 5:23) You are spirit, you possess a soul, and you live in a body.
a. (John 3:3-6) born of the spirit vs. born of the flesh
~(1 Pet. 1:23 AMPC) born-again by the Word
~(John 6:63) God’s words are spirit and life
b. (2 Cor. 5:17-18) a new creation
3. (Jas. 1:22-25) God’s Word is the mirror of our spirit.
a. (1 John 4:17b) “as He is, so are we in this world.”
B. God’s Healing Power is in You Now (Release it)
1. (1 Cor. 6:17) Your born-again spirit is just like Christ.
a. (Eph. 1:17-23 AMPC)
b. (Eph. 2:5-6; 4:23-24 all AMPC)
c. (Rom. 8:5-14) healing is in your born-again spirit
2. How do I access or appropriate what is in my spirit?
a. (Philemon 6) acknowledge
b. (Rom. 12:2) renew
c. (2 Cor. 4:13) release
