I.Becoming a Kingdom Single

A.Seeking a Spouse vs. Seeking the Lord

1. (Col. 2:10) Many singles are looking for marriage to do something for them it was never made to do – complete them. The definition of single is to be separate, unique and whole.

a. Desiring a spouse if you’re single is normal but making it the defining factor of your life will be dangerous.

2. (Prov. 18:24) I think it is better to organically make friendships while you pursue your God-given dreams, than to pursue a spouse. While you’re pursuing your God-given dreams of health, education, travel, hobbies or business you will meet people.

a. (Prov. 19:14; 18:22; Ps. 34:10) Only the Lord knows where the best person for you is, trust Him to bring you two together.

B.What Women Should Look for in a Man (Not a 6-6-6 man)

2. (Prov. 19:22 AMP) loyalty, kindness, and his giving, but avoid liars.
