I.The Believer’s Authority
A.Spiritual Warfare
1.(Eph. 6:10-12) humanity is in spiritual warfare.
a. (1 Pet. 5:8) your adversary is the devil.
b. (John 10:10 AMP) Satan wants destruction.
2. (2 Cor. 2:11AMP) Let’s not be ignorant of Satan’s devices.
B.Who Is Satan?
1.(Eze. 28:14 NLT) He was created by God as one of three archangels mentioned by name in the Bible: Michael (warrior), Gabriel (messenger), Lucifer (guardian).
a. (Ps. 91:11-12; 103:20-21; Heb. 1:13-14 all AMP)
2.(Rev. 12:3-4, 7-9) The most commonly taught doctrine regarding the fall of Lucifer.
The Fall of Lucifer and the Rise of Satan
3.(Eze. 28:12-19 NLT) Lucifer in the garden of Eden.
a. (Isa. 14:12-17) Satan’s jealousy and envy of God
b. Satan only uses man’s authority and power.
c. God can only use His power through the authority given Him in the earth by man.
The Fall of Man
4. (Gen. 1:26; Ps. 82:6; John 10:30-36; Ps. 115:15-16) God gave man unrestricted, unqualified and unconditional authority.
a. (Rom. 6:16 NLT) Satan understood this.
b. (2 Cor. 4:3-4 NLT) Satan the god of this world
The Birth, Death and Resurrection of Christ
5. (John 1:14) God created the world with His Word, but now man has authority. Man had to speak God’s Word.
a. (John 5:26-27) the Son of Man
b. (Matt. 28:18) All authority has been given to Me
