I. How to Receive Your Healing
A. Review
1. (Col. 2:6) The same way you received salvation is the same way you receive everything else from God.
a. (Eph. 2:8-9) saved by grace through faith not works.
~Grace is God’s unmerited, unearned, undeserved favor to all of mankind through Christ. God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense.
~Faith is our positive response to God’s grace. It is the outcome of believing in God’s grace. Faith accesses the God’s grace.
B. Faith Works by Love
1. (Gal. 5:6) Your faith works by knowing and believing in God’s love for you.
a. (1 John 4:10 AMPC) this is love, not our love for God, but His love for us.
~(Matt. 22:36-39) under the law – our love for God
~(John 13:34) new covenant – God’s love for us.
~(1 John 4:19) We can only truly love when we know He loves us.
b. (1 John 4:16) God is love! When we know, and believe in and live in His love for us that’s when we truly live in Him.
c. (Eph. 3:17-19) being rooted and grounded in love means having a deep and stable foundation in God’s multidimensional love for you.
2. (1 John 4:9) God’s love was manifested toward us in God sending Jesus into the world so we could live through Him. We live through Him by Him living in us.
a. (John 1:12-13) children of God
b. (Gal. 4:4-7 AMPC) son-ship vs. servant
c. (Rom. 5:6-11) much more now!
d. (Rom. 8:31-39) nothing can separate us from God’s love for us!
