A.Sexual Immorality – the Sins Against Your Own Body
1.Foundation Text (1 Cor. 6:9-11, 18) sexual sins are in a class of their own because of the true purpose of sex and its impact on the mind, soul and body.
a. (Rom. 6:16, 23 NLT) God hates all sin because all sin brings death in one form or another.
2.How does sexual immorality (any sex outside of God’s defined parameters) affect us?
a.(Heb. 13:4; Mark 10:2-9) God’s defined parameters for sex is one man and one woman in marriage.
b.(Rom. 1:18-32 NLT) sexual immorality affects your mind, soul and body; and moves your heart away from God.
c.(Rev. 2:12-16 NIV) the self-destruction of Israel
~The teachings of Balaam (Tell the Balak story in Num. 22-25)
~The doctrine of the Nicolaitans appears is a form of antinomianism, which makes the fatal mistake that man can freely partake in sin because the Law of God is no longer binding.
3. God’s repeated warning in the new testament under grace about the self-induced judgment to come for sexual immorality and the judgment from God at the end.

4. (Deut. 30:19-20 NLT) God can and will deliver us if we make the right choice to obey Him.
