1. Ephesians 1-3 sit (wealth), 4-5 walk, 6 stand (warfare)
2. (4:1-16) Walk in unity.
a.(4:11-12) Our call into the ministry.
3. (4:17-32) Walk in purity.
A. Ephesians 4:17-24 AMPC; 25-32 NKJV – Walk in Purity
1. (v17-19) Walk no longer like those who don’t know God.
a. Why should believers not walk like the world?
~(Rom. 6:23; 8:12-13 all NLT) sin brings death to some extent
~(Gal. 5:16-21 NIV) walking in the flesh robs you of your inheritance.
~(1 Pet. 2:9-12 NKJV) because we are God’s only plan for the lost.
b. (v17) in the futility of their mind.
c.(v18) understanding darkened
~(2 Cor. 4:4 NIV) Satan has blinded the minds
d.(v18) alienated from the life of God
e.(v19) past feeling of wrong doing
2. (v20-21) we didn’t learn fleshly behavior from Christ
a. (1 Cor. 15:33 NIV) wrong connections, wrong directions
3. (v22-24) be constantly renewed in your mind
4. (v25-32 NKJV) these things grieve the Holy Spirit.
