I.Can I Lose My Salvation?
A. Eternal Redemption
1. (Heb. 10:1-25 NLT) no more sacrifice for sins.
2. (Heb. 12:23) “…to the spirits of just men made perfect.”
B. Why Not Live in Sin if I’m Forgiven?
1. Since God has forgiven all my sin and I’m righteous in His eyes, why not live in sin?
a. Three times (Rom. 3:8; 6:1; 6:15) Paul makes similar statements, “Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?” Why did Paul deal with this so many times?
~Because our right standing with God is based on God’s grace, not our performance many accused Paul of saying we could live in sin!
b. “Pastor, why should we live holy if our sins are all forgiven in Christ?” Two main reasons!
#1 Sin allows Satan inroads into our lives.
~(Heb. 12:1)
~(Rom. 6:16-18 NLT)
~(Rom. 6:23)
#2 It’s our new nature to live holy because we are dead to sin.
C. The Unforgivable Sin – Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit
1. (Mark 3:20-30) blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is simply not looking to Jesus for salvation because you see Him as anything other than the God.
