A. Avoiding Financial Pitfalls
1.(Prov. 21:20 NLT) Don’t live beyond your means!
2.(Prov. 6:1-5 AMP) Don’t co-sign or become security for others unless you can afford to pay for it.
3.(Prov. 27:23-27 AMP) The starting place. Do you know your current financial condition? Do you know your income, debt, expenses, savings and goals? How much money is coming in and going out? Where is my money going? What do you want out of life?
a.(Luke 14:28-32 NIV) What’s the plan? How do we get where we want to be? Do you have a budget?

4.(Prov. 22:7) Make getting out of debt a priority!

b.(Rom. 13:8 AMP) Keep out of debt!

~Take immediate actions.
-Get necessary advice
-Stop excessive spending
-Cut up credit cards
~Work together as a family
-create temporary new income
~Pay off debt from smallest to largest
