A.Righteousness by Faith Speaks
1.One of the most prevalent themes and principles in the proverbs is righteousness and its promises. Righteousness speaks.
a.(Prov. 10:11, 13, 20, 21, 31, 32; 12:13, 17, 28)
2.What is righteousness?
a.Righteousness – total acquittal; clearance from all guilt shame; right standing and right relationship with God. (Justified, just, right, upright)
3.(Rom. 1:16-17) The gospel is the power of God to salvation, and power of the gospel is the righteousness of God.
4.(Rom. 10:1-10) “the righteousness of faith speaks…”
a.(Gal. 3:13-14, 29 NLT) We are Abraham’s seed.
b.(Rom. 4:13-25 AMP) Abraham received the promise of God through righteousness of faith, and so do we.
