I.Being Fully Persuaded
A. How to Be Fully Persuaded
1. (Rom. 4:17-21 KJV) Abraham was fully persuaded.
a. Being fully persuaded is believing God with all your heart despite contrary physical evidence.
2.What’s involved with being fully persuaded?
#1.Know the promise of God for your situation.
#2. Embrace the promise of God with all your heart.
#3. Don’t consider anything contrary to the promise of God.
B. Embrace the Promise of God with All Your Heart
1. (Prov. 3:5-8) Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart!
a.(Jas. 1:5-8) double-minded
~(Jas. 4:8) A purified heart is the remedy for double-mindedness!
~(1 Pet. 1:22 KJV) Obeying the truth is making the decision and choice to believe God.
C. Get Your Hopes Up!
1. (Rom. 4:18 AMP) All reason for human hope being gone Abraham hoped on in faith because of God’s promise.
a. (Heb. 11:1) Faith makes substance of things HOPED. Faith needs hope to work: No hope, no faith!
b. Hope (elpis) joyful, confident expectation of good; the desire, the dream, the vision of the future; the framework on which faith is built; the motivating force of faith. Hope is looking forward to a desired thing with some degree of expectancy.
~(Rom. 15:4) Hope comes from the Scriptures.
~(1 Cor. 13:13) faith, hope and love
-(Gal. 5:6 KJV) faith works by love
~(Rom. 5:1-5) the process of hope!
