A. Understanding Satan’s Devices 1
1.(2 Cor. 2:10-11) Satan can take advantage of us if we are ignorant of his devices.
2. (Matt. 13:19, 24-25) Satan is coming for the word (God’s seed) and desires to sow destructive seed.
a. (John 10:10 AMP) loss, death and destruction are from the devil.
~(ref. Ps. 107:20; John 8:31-32)
b. (John 8:44) Satan plants lies in the heart that bring loss, death, destruction and bondage.
~(1 Pet. 5:8) “your adversary the devil…seeking whom he may devour.”
~(2 Cor. 11:3-4, 13-14 all NLT) Satan deceives
3. (Acts 10:38) The root of sickness and disease is oppression of the devil.
a. (Luke 13:16) “whom Satan has bound…”
~(Mark 5:21-26, 35-42) Jairus’ daughter
~(ref. Gen. 3; Matt. 4) Did Adam/Eve physically see God or Satan? Did Jesus see the Satan in the wilderness? (Heb. 4:15)
-(John 1:18; Eze. 28:12-18) God is Spirit and so is Satan having no body.
b. (John13:2; Matt. 16:21-23) Satan influences our thoughts directly or through people.
c. (2 Cor. 10:3-5) take captive every thought.
