Born of God and Know God

1.(Matt. 7:21-27) Knowing God causes you to hear the word, do it and withstand the storms of life.
a.“…I never knew you…”
b.(John 17:1-3) Eternal life = knowing God.
c.Know (ginosko) to intimately know in relationship, become well acquainted with; idiom for sexual intercourse between a husband and wife.
d.Knowing God is to be in life union with God through Jesus, having an intimate, loving, personal relationship that results in bearing fruit.
e.Our union with Jesus is likened to a marriagerelationship throughout the scriptures.
2.(Phil. 3:10-11 NIV) Healthy marriage relationshipsshare love, commitment and sacrifice from both the husband and wife. (progressive: Savior/Friend/Lord)
a.(1 John 4:10 NLT) We know God loves us!
b.(Matt. 22:36-40) Jesus’ two commandments.
c.Everyone says they love God, but how do we know if we really do?
d.(1 John 2:3-6 TPT) Loving God and keeping His commands come from intimately knowing Him.

f.(1 John 4:6-8) those who love (agape) are born ofGod and know God.
3.(John 15:1-27 TPT) an intimate relationship with Jesus will cause your life to produce lasting fruit.
