A. Destructive Seeds Produce Deadly Roots and Fruits
1. (2 Cor. 2:10-11) Satan can take advantage of us if we are ignorant of his devices (noema – mental perception, thought).
a. (Matt. 13:19-22 AMP) Satan is coming for the Word that’s in your heart. Why?
~(John 1:1-5 KJV) God’s word is life and light.
~(John 8:12, 31-32; 17:17) God’s word is truth.
~(Ps. 107:20; 119:105) health, deliverance and guidance
~(Prov. 4:20-22) life and health
b. (Matt. 13:24-30) Satan is sowing destructive seeds; thoughts that are contrary to God’s truth that will produce fruits of loss, death and destruction.
c. The remedy
~(2 Cor. 10:3-5) capture every thought
~(Eph. 6:10-18) the armor of God
2. (Rom. 8:5-8, 12-13) Satan wants to keep you focused on the flesh and not the spirit.
a. (Gal. 5:16-17, 19-21) works of the flesh
b. (Eph. 4:17-32 NLT) give no place to the devil.
~(Rom. 6:16)
c. (1 John 2:15-17) lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, pride of life.
~(1 Tim. 6:6-10 NLT) love of money the root of all kinds of evil.
