A. The Secret Power of Imagination
1. Imagination – the ability to picture things or concepts in your mind not present to the senses. Imagination is a function of the soul where spiritual conception occurs.
a. (ref. Ps. 103:14) Your spiritual frame is your imagination.
b. (ref. Gen. 11:6 AMP) if you can imagine it, you can do it.
c. (ref. Josh. 1:8; Ps. 1:1-3) meditating God’s word brings prosperity and success.
d. (ref. 2 Cor. 10:3-5 KJV) spiritual warfare involves casting down imaginations that are against God’s Word.
2. Using your imagination to see God’s promises realized in your life creates hope, which is the substance of faith.
a. (Rom. 8:24-25) Hope has to do with seeing the unseen and the future through God’s Word.
b. (ref. Heb. 11:1) hope is the pathway to faith.
~(ref. Rom. 4:18) Abraham in hope believed.
~(ref. Rom. 5:5) hope does not disappoint
~(Rom. 15:4, 13) the God of hope fill you with joy!
~(Jer. 29:11 NIV) Because God has good plans for you, you can have hope and a future.
~(2 Cor. 2:14) Now give thanks because God always causes you to triumph.
3. Anxiety and depression emerge when there’s no hope.
a. (Eph. 1:18; 2:11-13 NLT) no God = no hope; but you have God so you have hope!
