I.The Life of Faith
A. Faith is a Spiritual Law
1. (Rom. 3:27) Faith is a law.
a. Faith is a spiritual law that accesses the grace and creative power of God made available to man, whereby man can transform conditions, circumstances and situations in the natural realm over which he has been given authority.
b. Faith is a spiritual law like gravity, aerodynamics, physics and electricity are natural laws. Laws are immutable and indiscriminate. They work consistently for the benefit of those who will work them.
2. (Rom. 10:17) God’s faith comes by hearing God’s Word, and faith is released by praying, saying and doing.
B. Faith is Released in Words
1. (Mark 11:12-14, 20-24) Jesus taught that faith is released through words.
a. (Matt. 17:19-20) “if you have faith…you will say”
b. (Luke 17:5-6) “if you have faith…you can say”
2. (2 Cor. 4:13) the spirit of faith
a. (Heb. 11:1, 3) God’s faith gave substance to all things. God released His faith through His words.
b.(Gen. 1) “God said” 10x, “God called” 3x
c. (John 1:1-4, 14 KJV) Everything made was made by God’s spoken Word.
~(Col. 1:15-17 NLT) Jesus is the personified Word of God.
~(Heb. 1:1-3) upholding all things
3. You will abort or birth God’s plans by what you’re saying. (Mary vs. Zacharias)
a. (Luke 1:26-56) Mary and the birth of Jesus
b. (Luke 1:5-25, 57-64, 67-68, 76-80) Zacharias, Elizabeth and the birth of John the Baptist.
