A.The Gifts of the Working of Miracles

1. (1 Cor. 12:7-11) 9 Manifestation gifts

2. The nine gifts categorized:

a. Three revelation gifts reveal something:

~Word of wisdom 

~Word of knowledge

~The discerning of spirits

b. The three power gifts do something:

~The gift of faith

~The working of miracles

~The gifts of healings

c. The three utterance gifts say something:

~Prophesy

~Divers kinds of tongues

~Interpretation of tongues

B. The Gifts of Healings – are manifested for the supernatural healing of sickness, injury and disease without any natural source or means.

1. Gifts of healings vs. Receiving by faith. Gifts of healings are manifested through another person to you.

a. I believe this is called gifts of healings because there are many ways this gift is administered.

2. God wants you well.

a. (Mark 7:27) Healing is the children’s bread.

b. (Ps. 103:1-5; Acts 10:38) 

~(Matt. 4:24; 8:16; 12:15; 15:30) healed them all

~(Mark 6:1-6) Jesus limited by unbelief

c. (Mark 16:17-18) all believers have been commissioned to heal the sick.

~(Matt. 10:1, 7-8)

~(Luke 9:1-2, 6; 10:9)

3. Various ways to administer healing:

a. Laying on of hands

~(Mark 6:5; 16:18; Luke 4:40; Acts 28:7-9)

b. Anointing with oil

~(Mark 6:13; Jas. 5:14-15)

c. Prayer cloths

~(Acts 19:11-12)

d. Sending the word

~(Ps. 107:20; Matt. 8:8)

e. Commanding in the name of Jesus

~(Acts 3:1-16; 14:8-10)

f. Communion

~(1 Cor. 11:23-30)
