I.Success God’s Way
A. Grace of Giving
- (2 Cor. 8:1-9 NIV) Giving under the new covenant should be an act of faith in response to God’s grace and not the law (curse).
a. (2 Cor. 9:7 AMP) cheerful giver.
b. (1 Cor. 12:3 AMP) heart of a giver
2. The primary reason God set up the system of giving is so we look to God as our Source and not money or our work.
a. (Ps. 50:7-13; Prov. 3:9-10 AMP) God doesn’t need your money, but we need to give in order to remember and honor Him.
b. (Deut. 8:1-19) Remember it’s the Lord who gives you the power to get wealth!
3. (Rom. 4:16 AMP; 5:1-2 NKJV) All of the promises of God are given by grace and must be received by faith.
a. (Jas. 2:14-20, 26) faith must have corresponding action to be alive.
