A. By Grace Through Faith
1. (1 John 5:4 NLT) “For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.”
a. (Rom. 1:17 NLT; 2 Cor. 5:7; Heb. 11:6 NIV) The victorious life of the believer is a life of faith.
b. (Rom. 4:16 AMP) Everything we receive from God we receive by grace through faith.
~(Eph. 2:8-9 NIV) salvation
-(Matt. 9:22) issue of blood healed
-(Matt. 9:29) blind eyes opened
2. What is grace? God’s Riches At Christ Expense
a. Grace is the means by which God has provided all of mankind all of His goodness. It’s God’s unmerited, undeserved, and unlimited favor.
~(Tit. 2:11 NIV) Grace has been provided for all.
~(John 1:14, [16-17 AMP]) grace embodied.
b. Faith can only take what grace has already provided in Christ.
~(Eph. 1:3, 7, 11)
~(2 Cor. 5:21; 2 Cor. 8:9; [Isa. 53:4-5 AMP])
3. What is faith?
a. (Heb. 11:1 NLT) “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”
~Faith is right believing.
~Faith takes what grace gives.
b. (Rom. 10:17) “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
~Your faith is only limited by your knowledge of what is rightfully yours by grace.
