A.Authority Over All the Power of the Devil
1.(Luke 10:19) Foundation verse.
2.Why do we need spiritual authority?
a.(1 Pet. 5:8-9 NLT) we have an adversary – the devil.
b.(Eph. 6:10-12 AMP) your battle is a spiritual battle.
c.(John 10:10 AMP) Satan has come to steal, kill and destroy.
~(John 8:44) liar and murderer.
3.Why does Satan hate mankind?
a.(Gen. 1:26-28) God gave man unconditional, unqualified and unrestricted authority over the earth.
b.(Eze. 28:12-19 NLT) He was created by God as one of three archangels mentioned by name in the Bible: Michael (warrior), Gabriel (messenger), Lucifer (guardian).
c.(Isa. 14:12-17) Satan’s jealousy and envy of God
d.(Rom. 6:16 NLT) Satan deceived Eve in the garden and Adam forfeited his authority to Satan through disobedience to God.
