A.Do I Need More Faith?
1.(Luke 17:1-10) More faith isn’t the problem, understanding and using the faith we have is.
a. (Eph. 2:8) the grace and the faith are gifts from God. It took God’s faith to get saved!
b. (Rom. 10:13-17) faith for salvation comes by hearing God’s. God’s Word contains His faith.
2. (Sense realm faith vs. God-kind of faith) You can’t get saved with sense realm faith. It takes God’s faith to have faith in God and that comes only from God’s Word.
a. (1 Pet. 1:23 AMP) born-again by the Word
~(Gal. 5:22-23) fruit of the Spirit
b. (Gal. 2:16, 20 both KJV) we have the faith of Christ Himself.
c. (Rom. 12:3 KJV) every believer receives “the measure” of faith which is God’s very own faith.
~(Matt. 8:10, 26) Centurion soldier/rebukes storm
d. (Philemon 1:6) our faith becomes effective by acknowledging what is already in us in Christ.
e. (2 Pet. 1:1-4) we have obtained God’s faith but need knowledge from God’s word to operate it.
3. (Rom. 3:27) Faith is a law.
