A.Hebrews 11 Lessons in Faith (Heb. 11:1-2 NIV; v3 NKJV)
1. (ref. Heb. 11:4) Abel’s lesson: Put God First
2. (ref. Heb. 11:5) Enoch’s lesson: Walk faithfully with God
3. (ref. Heb. 11:7) Noah’s lesson: Act on God’s Word
4. (ref. Heb. 11:8-12) Abraham’s lesson: Wait Patiently
a. (Heb. 11:13-16 NIV) these died in faith having not received all that was promised them.
b. (Heb. 11:17-23 NIV) the blessing was passed on by faith to the next generation by the fathers.
5. (ref. Heb. 11:23-29) Moses’ lesson: Walk by faith not by sight
6. (ref. Heb. 11:30-31) Joshua’s lesson: Thank God in Advance
7. (Heb. 32-40 AMP) God always does the right thing! Even when things don’t turn out as we plan, God always does the right thing.
