1. Abel’s lesson: Put God First
2. Enoch’s lesson: Walk faithfully with God
3. Noah’s lesson: Act on God’s Word
4. Abraham’s lesson: Wait Patiently
5. Moses’ lesson: See through God’s Perspective – Walk by faith not by sight
6. (Heb. 11:30-31 NIV) Joshua’s lesson: Thank God in Advance
a. (Josh. 6:1-26) the walls of Jericho fall.
~Everything they did was violation of Moses law
-Sabbath Day march
-Priests and ark in battle
-Trumpets
~Why did God have them march around the city?
-Realization of the problem they could not resolve on their own.
-The importance of patience.
-Discipline: Be quiet (control your tongue)
-God wanted to save the people of Jericho
