I.Established in Righteousness

A. The Blessing of Abraham

1. (Gal. 3:6-9, 13-14, 29; 4:1) The blessing of Abraham is yours because you are in Christ. (Heb. 5:13)

a. (Gen. 1:26-28) God blessed mankind

~The blessing of God is God’s divine favor spoken over you. It is God’s divine empowerment to prosper and be in health.

b. (Gen. 3:17-19 NIV) Satan brought the curse through man’s rebellion against God.

c. (Gen. 12:1-3) Gods promise to Abraham.

2. (Rom. 4:13) The promise to be “heir of the world” is received through the righteousness of faith.

a. “…The just shall live by faith…” (ref. Hab. 2:4; Rom. 1:17; Gal. 3:11; Heb. 10:38)

B. Blessed in All Things

1. (Gen. 24:1) “…the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.” (Deut. 28:1-14 MSG; Ps. 103:1-5)

a. Wealth/Provision: (Gen. 13:1-2 AMP) God made Abram rich. (ref. Gen. 12:10-20)

b. Youth Renewal: Sarai’s *youth was restored, she was so beautiful at 65 that Abram **lied saying she was his sister Pharaoh took her for his harem, God plagued Pharaoh for Sarai’s sake.

~*1 Pet. 3:6 daughters of Sarah

~(ref. Gen. 20:14-18) Abraham lied again about Sarah (90) being his sister, she was taken by Abimelech.

~**non-imputation of sin.

c. Enemies Defeated: Lot taken captive by 4 kings who came against 5 kings. (Gen. 14:14-16)

~1st mention of the bread and wine

~1st mention of the tithe (tithing is your response to the revelation that God is your Source of victory and not YOU!)

d. Longevity: Abraham (100) and Sarah (90) conceive Isaac despite mistake with Hagar!

~Sarah (127) dies; Abraham (137) remarries and has 6 more sons.  (Gen. 25:1-2)

~Abraham’s death (Gen. 25:7-8 AMP)
