Outline – The theme of Ephesians 2 is God’s Work.

A.God’s Work Among Us (Chap. 2:14-22 NIV)
1. (v14-18 NIV) Jesus is our peace; from the two (Gentiles/Jews) to one new humanity, one body – the body of Christ.
a. Peace with God and the peace of God.
~(Rom. 5:1) peace with God
~(John 14:26-27; 16:33) peace of God
~(Col. 3:15 AMPC) peace of God by umpire
b. Unity and diversity in the one body, one new humanity.
~I must be connected to the body to grow and effectively be who I’m created to be.
~(Col. 2:19 NIV) stay connected to the body
~(Rom. 12:4-8 NLT) we belong to each other
~(1 Cor. 12:12-20 NIV) every part is significant
2. (v19-22 NIV) we are members of His household, building, holy temple being built.
