A. Praying the Word 3
1. God has already provided salvation (healing, deliverance, provision, righteousness, etc.) for all mankind at the cross through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
a. Prayer isn’t trying to get God to do something He hasn’t done. Prayer takes by faith what God has already provided by grace. Prayer is earth giving permission for God’s provision and promise.
b. (ref. Gen. 1:26) God needs our participation and cooperation to bring to pass His will in our lives.
c. (ref. Matt. 4:3-11) whenever Jesus was confronted with the devil He spoke the word.
d. (ref. 1 John 5:14-15 AMP) To pray effectively we must pray in line with God’s will; God’s word is His will.
