A. The Natural Mind Cannot Perceive Spiritual Things
1. (Rom. 8:5-8 AMP) carnally minded vs. spiritually minded.
a. (Jas. 1:22-25 GNT) the Word of God is the mirror or window into the spirit realm.
b. (2 Cor. 4:18 NIV) the spiritual mind believes and receives God’s Word as reality (truth) despite physical evidence.
c. (2 Cor. 5:7 NLT) “For we live by believing and not by seeing.”
d. (Heb. 11:1 CSB) faith perceives as reality what is not yet revealed to the five senses.
2. The natural mind cannot perceive the spirit.
