A. Walk by Faith and Not by Sight
1. (2 Cor. 5:7 NKJV/NLT; 2 Cor. 4:18 NIV) walking by faith and not by sight means living life dominated by what God says and even if it conflicts with what is seen.
a. Spiritual reality is like the radio and TV signals that exist but can’t be seen or heard without a TV or radio.
b. (Heb. 11:1NKJV/CSB) faith perceives as reality and converts into substance what is not revealed to the 5 senses.
c. (1 Cor. 2:14 NIV) the natural mind cannot perceive spiritual things; they are perceived only by the spirit.
d. (John 3:3-7) new birth; the access into the spirit realm of God.
e. (John 4:24; 6:63) God’s Word is spirit and life.
f. (Rom. 8:5-6 NIV) natural thinking brings death; spiritual thinking brings life and peace.
