A.Condemnation Kills, Righteousness Gives Life
1. One of the most prevalent themes and principles in the proverbs is righteousness and its promises.
a. (Prov. 10:2; 11:4) Righteousness delivers from death.
2. What is righteousness?
a. Righteousness – total acquittal; clearance from all guilt shame; right standing and right relationship with God. (Justified, just, right, upright)
3. (Recap) Adam’s transgression brought sin, death and condemnation into our world. The law was given to show us our sin and the need for the Savior, Jesus.
