The Sex Trap Pt1–God’s not mad at you, but madly in love with you.
A. God’s Purpose for Sex
1. (Isa. 5:20-21 NKJV; 2 Tim. 3:1-5 NLT) Today we live in a perverted sexually driven culture. What God calls sin the culture calls normal.

b. Non-binary or genderqueer is a spectrum of gender identities that are not exclusively masculine or feminine—identities that are outside the gender binary. Non-binary identities can fall under the transgender umbrella, since many non-binary people identify with a gender that is different from their assigned sex. Another term for non-binary is enby.
2. (Prov. 5:3-11 NLT) Sexual immorality is personified as a woman in the proverbs 5-7.
a. (1 Cor. 6:9-11, 13-20; 7:1-5 all NLT) Sexual immorality is in a class of sin all by itself because of its impact on us.
3. How does sexual immorality (any sex outside of God’s defined parameters) affect us?
a.(Heb. 13:4 NIV; Matt. 19:4-6, 9) God’s defined parameters for sex is one man and one woman in marriage covenant.
~Becoming one together with spouse spiritually, mentally and physically.
~Procreation (two creating a new life)
b. (Rom. 1:21-32 NLT) sexual immorality affects your mind, soul and body; and moves your heart away from God.
c. (Rev. 2:12-16 NIV) the self-destruction of Israel
~The teachings of Balaam (ref. Balak story in Num. 22-25)
~The doctrine of the Nicolaitans is a form of antinomianism, which makes the fatal mistake that man can freely partake in sin because the Law of God is no longer binding.
