A. The Sex Trap
1. (Prov. 2:10-19) The proverbs expose keys to life and traps that lead to death.
a. (1 Kings 11:1-11) King Solomon ultimately departed from God’s wisdom because of sex.
~(Isa. 5:20) Today we live in a sexual driven culture. What God calls an abomination the culture calls alternative lifestyle.
~(1 John 2:16) the devil’s arsenal: lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, pride of life.
b. (Isa. 54:8-10 NLT) God is not and cannot be mad at you, but madly in love with you! He took out His wrath on Jesus for the world’s sins.
~(Rom. 6:16, 23 NLT) See God as a loving Father who calls sin anything that destroys you and limits you from being who He’s created you to be.
c. (Prov. 5:1-23 AMP) Sexual immorality is personified as a woman in the proverbs.
