A.Established in His Righteousness
1.One of the most prominent themes and topics in the proverbs is righteousness and its promises.
a.(Prov. 11:4-6, 8-11,18-19, 21, 23, 28, 30, 31)
2.What is righteousness?
a.Righteousness – total acquittal; clearance from all guilt shame; right standing and right relationship with God. (Justified, just, right, upright)
~(ref. Rom. 1:16-17) righteousness is the power of the gospel that brings salvation.
~(ref. Rom. 5:17) believers reign in life through grace and righteousness.
~(Rom. 10:1-10) ignorant of and not submitting the power of the righteousness of God.
~(2 Cor. 5:21) Jesus became sin so we could become righteous.
~(John 12:31-33) Jesus took our judgment so we could have His righteousness.

~(Isa. 54:17, 21) being established in His righteousness, no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
~Isa. 33:17-18 AMP) internal/external peace
3.(Rom. 5:1-21 all NLT [v21 NKJV]) By Adam came sin and death; by Jesus came grace and righteousness.
a.You became a sinner because of Adam deed; you became righteous because of Jesus deed. Your deeds have nothing to do with either status!
