I. His Word in Your Mouth
A. Review
1. (ref. Rom. 10:8) “…The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart…”
a. We put God’s word in our heart for fruitfulness and in our mouth for authority.
2. (ref. Gen. 1:26-27) We’re made in God’s image and likeness. God creates with His Words and so do we.
3. Jesus used His words to heal the sick, calm storms, raise the dead, and overcome the devil.
B. Faith is Voice-Activated
1. (Eph. 2:8-9) Receiving the promises of God is a matter of balancing grace and faith.
a. Grace is God’s Riches At Christ Expense. It’s God’s unmerited favor towards all humanity independent of man’s works or efforts. God provides by grace.
b. Faith is our positive response to what God has already provided by grace. Faith is how grace is received. Faith doesn’t move God! God has already moved by grace. Faith takes the grace.
~(Rom. 3:27) faith is a spiritual law.
~(Rom. 10:11-17) faith (believing) comes by hearing and hearing God’s Word.
2. (Rom. 10:8-10) salvation is the result of believing in the heart and confessing (activating) with the mouth.
3. (Mark 11:12-14, 20-24) Jesus teaches the law of faith. Speak to the mountain and not to God about the mountain.
a. (Eze. 37:1-12) speak God’s Word to the situation.
4. (Jas. 3:2-12 AMP) your life is following your words.
