A. The Promises of God Are Voice Activated
1. (Mk. 11:12-14, 20-24) “And Jesus, answering said to them, Have God’s Faith.” (v22 BBE – Bible in Basic English)
a. What is God’s Faith?
~(Heb. 11:1, 3) God’s faith is what He used to create the universe and everything in it. God’s faith is activated and released by His Word.
b. Let’s take a look at how God’s faith works.
~(Col. 1:15-17 AMPC) Preeminent Christ
~(Heb. 1:1-3) by the word of His power
~(John 1:1-4, 14 NIV) The Word made flesh
~(ref. Gen. 1; 1:26-27) man made like God
c. When you received Jesus (got born-again) you received the God kind of faith.
~Natural faith vs. God’s faith (Rom. 4:17-21)
~(1 Pet. 1:23 AMPC) born-again by God’s Word
~(Rom. 10:17) faith comes by hearing God’s Word
~(Eph. 2:8) grace and faith the gift of God
~(Gal. 2:16, 20 KJV) justified by the faith Christ
2. Because God’s Word created everything – everything responds to God’s Word spoken in faith.
a. (Prov. 4:20-24) put God’s Word in your heart and mouth.
b. (Prov. 18:21 AMPC) death and life in the tongue
3. (Jas. 3:2-12 AMPC) change your world with your words.
