B. Spirit, Soul and Body

1. (1 Thess. 5:23; Gen. 2:7 KJV) You are spirit; you possess a soul – mind, will, intellect, emotions, and imagination; and you live in an earth-suit called a body.

a. Your body (fleshly, carnal) means being dominated by the lustful appetites and desires of the body and an un-renewed mind.

b. Your soul is the control center of your being.
