I.Carnally Minded vs. Spiritually Minded
A. Your Spirit is One with Christ
1. (Rom. 8:5-7) carnally minded vs. spiritually minded.
2. (2 Cor. 5:16-18 AMP) Your new identity in Christ is based on your spirit not your flesh!
3. (Eph. 1:13-14 AMP) Christ purchased your total redemption (spirit, soul and body), but right now only 1/3 of your redemption is complete – your spirit.
a. Your spirit’s redemption is complete, but your body and soul are purchased and will be completely transformed at Christ return.
~(1 Cor. 13:9, 10,12 NLT) Your soul.
~(1 Cor. 15:50-55 NLT) Your body.
4. (1 John 4:17b) “…as He is, so are we in this world.”
a. Our born-again spirit is just like Christ!
~(Jn. 1:16) we’ve received His fullness
~(1 Cor. 1:30-31) wisdom, righteousness…
~(1 Cor. 6:17 AMP) one spirit with Him
~(2 Cor. 4:7 AMP) God’s power
~(Eph. 1:3, 11, 13-14, [17-23 AMP]) every spiritual blessing in Christ!
~(Eph. 4:24) righteousness, holiness
~(Col.1:26-27) Christ in us
~(Col. 2:9-10) complete in Him
~(Heb. 10:14; 12:23) perfected forever
~(1 John 2:20, 27) anointing and wisdom
