I. Promises of Protection 8 – Truths from Ps 91
A.Promises of Protection (Read Psalm 91 NKJV)
1.(Read v1-13) v1 through v13 David is writing, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, to the reader about the LORD.
2. (Read v14-16) v14 through v16 the LORD is talking to David about the hearer.
a. (v15) a. “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; b. I will deliver him and honor him.”
3. God tells us to call on Him and He will, not might or maybe answer us. God is encouraging us to pray to Him.

b. (Matt. 7:7-11; [18:18-20 AMP]; Mark 11:22-24; John 14:12-14; [15:7-8, 15-16 TPT]; [16:23-24, 26-27 TPT]; [1 John 5:14-15 AMP])
4. He will be with us in trouble and deliver and honor!
a. (Ps. 46:1-3; 50:15) A very present help in trouble.
b. (Heb. 13:5b-6 AMP) The Lord is my Helper.
c. (Dan. 3:24-25, 30) Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego.
